Clogging up the Web

Novell have picked up on my review of Novell SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 (SLES9) in Linux Magazine. It was sent out with their partner email in late December. The quote they seemed to like was:

„Suse has taken the lead on competitors Red Hat and Mandrake by releasing an enterprise Linux product that comes with the 2.6 kernel. What do you get with the new Suse Enterprise Linux? We’ll give you a look at the best of what’s inside Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9.“

Obviously they like what I have to say of SLES9. SLES9 is a great product and beats the pants off the competition. I installed the x86_64 (64-bit) version on an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor based system and it worked a treat. Why would anyone go with Solaris or HP-UX with something like SLES9 around?
